Important Update 05/15/26

We are entering the last scheduled day of bargaining with Weyerhaeuser and have a lot of work to still accomplish.

Wages are still being discussed and are not where we need them to be.

The healthcare picture is starting to become clearer, but still not where we need to be.

Retirement improvements are being met with rejection with every proposal we make.

Overtime: mandatory, daily, and weekly are still being discussed.

Vacation improvements are being shot down by Weyerhaeuser at every turn.

We worked until late the last two nights, and today might not be any different. We have been working to secure the best outcome of this negotiation possible, and are limited only by what Weyerhaeuser is willing to do. They are claiming that 3 years of losses are hindering what they are willing to give.  But, Weyerhaeuser has made over $6 billion in net profit AND paid out another $6.1 billion to shareholders in stock buybacks and cash dividends over the past five years. They have still turned a profit over the past 3 years. And their markets are turning, as their reported earnings for the first 3 months of 2026 almost equal what they earned all of 2025. What they are claiming as losses just seems to be an excuse to give us less.

We have more work to do, but it is coming to an end soon. Our next step will be to put together all that has been accomplished and get that in front of you. We will post the "final proposal" as soon as possible on your website, iam-weyco2026.com. Please take the time to review it in depth. There are a number of changes, additions, and adjustments that deserve all of our attention.

Your opportunity to have your voice heard on this proposal is next week at our Contract and Strike Votes:

Tuesday -  May 19th  (Dates, Locations, and Times to come)

Wednesday - May 20th (Dates, Locations,  and Times to come)

Thursday Morning, we will be counting votes and reporting the outcomes.

Thank you for your steadfast support of your committee, but more importantly, your support of your co-workers and brothers and sisters you work side by side with every day. We are all doing this for all of us - it's one for all and all for one.

In Solidarity,

Brandon R. Bryant
