Tentative Agreement Reached 05/15/26

Negotiations at the big table have resulted in a tentative agreement. We are putting the final proposal together, and that will be posted tonight, or at the latest, tomorrow.
We were able to move the company quite a bit from where we were last night, and made some better improvements than what was on the table recently. This is the best proposal available from the company, and your committee feels it is worth your consideration. We do not believe there is a better offer available from the Company. Please give it your consideration and review.
Highlights -
This tentative agreement does not contain any new mandatory overtime.
Secured a 4-year Contract
Total wage increases over the life of the Contract - 11% (1.5%, 2.5%, 3.5%, 3.5%)
Locked in Healthcare costs with minimal increases over the life of the Contract (see the proposal for more details)
Dental coverage now has more flexibility.
Ratification bonus of $3000.
Increase to the Pension (an additional $1 for 2026, another additional $1 for 2029)
Increase to most shift differentials ($1.25, see the proposal for more details)
This is in addition to what you have already seen at the Local or Timberlands level (already posted)
Your opportunity to vote on this proposal is next Tuesday or Wednesday at the times and locations below. Come prepared to vote on this agreement and your final Strike Vote. We will see you at the voting locations to answer your questions.
In solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee

A tremendous thank you to the bargaining team and the W246 for the outstanding preparation and transparency throughout this bargaining session. Above all else these folks are doing a thankless job out of their passion to fight on behalf of their co-workers. For me this appeared to be a good faith bargain, and I believe that our union representatives fought hard for all of us.
I support a yes vote for this contract. I don't believe that we have anything to gain from rejecting this offer from the company. I don't believe I have ever experienced a contract offer that felt like an all out win, contracts don't work like that. Compromise is hard to come by and this contr…
What a joke… it’s a big no from our maintenance department!
Union work changed my life and I raised my children on my own and to believe in the trades and that Union work will provide a good living and many teachings of not only skills, but of pride and strength in themselves and what each hard worker is capable of across the country. Didn't you?
I mean isnt our representatives supposed to fight for our right to support our families
Solid NO here in Longview. terrible wage increase, medical doubling the 3rd year ends up being $1 an hour pay cut. Percentages need rearranged to 3.5, 3.5, 2.5, 1.5
