Negotiations Update 03/11/26

Members,
We have spent the past two days bargaining with Weyerhaeuser at our Longview mill. Progress has been slow, as the company has shown limited interest in our priorities and proposals. However, we did end the day with some movement on a small but important issue.
The company has proposed an update to maintenance skill levels, which we will address this Wednesday. We are currently reviewing their proposal to ensure any changes are fair and do not negatively impact our members.
Elsewhere, Jeff and the committees at Aberdeen and Pe Ell Woods met with the company this week, with Vail and Snow Peak rounding out the schedule. Progress is being made, and several items have been identified for Timberlands-wide discussion during the subcommittee meetings the week of April 13.
Bargaining at the local level can be frustrating, particularly when we must push back against unacceptable proposals and face frequent rejections of our own. Nevertheless, our committees are doing an excellent job working together and representing your interests. We are proud to do this work on your behalf.

How are we able to see what our Longview small table priorities and interests are? I remember the surveys, but don't remember follow up on the results. Maybe I missed it somewhere... Will the things we are asking for be available at the hall next Tuesday? Thanks.
