Update 04/23/26

Washington Trucking

During our recent bargaining session, the union presented a full set of proposals. At this time, both sides were able to reach agreement on a small number of non‑economic items, including:

• Removing obsolete language related to the pool driver position, which has not been used in more than 15 years

• General contract cleanup language to keep the agreement accurate and up to date

All remaining proposals will continue to be discussed in upcoming sessions.

Oregon Trucking

For Oregon Trucking, the union also brought forward a broad package of proposals. The committee reached agreement on several non‑economic updates, including:

• Aligning temporary vacancy language with the Washington Trucking contract

• Deleting outdated watch‑person provisions

• Removing two retirees from the transfer lists

• Additional cleanup language throughout the contract

Further bargaining will continue as we work through the remaining items.
